About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate Copywriter to join our busy collaborative marketing team. You will be delivering copy for daily email campaigns, product descriptions on our website, advertisements, catalogs, and landing pages.
As part of your role, you will learn what we do at ThermoWorks and why customers choose our products. You will learn what motivates our customers, both home users and businesses, and craft copy that communicates how our products will elevate their cooking and improve their lives.
**This position is onsite, Monday - Friday**
Essential Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise copy for product pages, websites, emails, advertisements, press releases, landing pages, catalogs, social media, etc
- Draft subject lines and calls to action for daily emails
- Ensure message delivered matches format and brand
- Write scripts for videos
- Research the SEO-value of keyword sets for strategic implementation
- Manage timelines for marketing catalogs and campaigns
- Collaborate with team members on marketing videos, campaigns, launches, etc
- Interview thought leaders inside and outside the company to write education pieces
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Please provide writing samples and be ready to participate in a test project
- 3+ years of copywriting experience
- Experience converting technical/product specifications into sales copy, a plus
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, English, or related program
- Superb writing, research, editing, and proofreading skills under deadline
- Strong background in SEO research, implementation and tracking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Interest or background in food or cooking a plus
